What is home care?
Home care provides the extra support you or your loved one needs so that you can continue to stay in the place you feel the most comfortable - your home.
You may be starting to find it difficult to complete different areas of your routine and want some support. Why choose home care over a care home?
Home care is for anyone who wants to stay in their own home but may need some extra help with personal care, medication management, household tasks or any other activity for that to be able to happen.
One of the main benefits of home care is that it provides a substantial level of support without impacting on your independence. Moving out of your own home can be very stressful and if you couple that with moving into a care home with different routines, set meals, reduced privacy and the loss of independence this can then cause stress, disengagement and unhappiness. Our flexible and unique care plans can be tailored to include existing routines and special circumstances, which means minimal disruption or changes to your existing schedule.
Survey’s have shown 97% of elderly people do not want to go into a care home, they want to remain in their own home surrounded by their own loved ones, belongings and memories.
Studies have shown that home care has a greater positive impact on wellbeing, happiness and reduced hospital admissions compared to a care home.
For families and loved ones, they can continue with their everyday tasks knowing their loved one is safe at home with a fully trained CAREGiver and that they will be notified of any developments instantly.
