Owner Andrew Wood’s background in regulated care activities since 2011, combined with his own experience of supporting his own parents in their 90s, means we truly understand the challenges families face. We are active across Redland and the wider Bristol area, running popular monthly film clubs across the area, where over 140 older people gather for entertainment and companionship. Our community involvement includes co-hosting Welcome Wednesday tea afternoons and bringing the Virtual Dementia Tour Bus to the community, giving people a unique insight into living with dementia. We work closely with Bristol Dementia Action Alliance, supporting their memory cafes and awareness events, while our owner Andrew Wood brings additional expertise through his decade-long role as trustee of Alive!, a charity known for innovative dementia support initiatives across Bristol.
