Following your initial consultation, we look to begin care within two weeks if required, ensuring timely support for those who need it. We will gather as much information about our client during the initial meeting and this underpins the outcomes of your care plan and the selection of the appropriate care professional. Gt Cornard is suitably located on the B1508 Sudbury to Bures with a number of suitable shopping conveniences. It is 5 minutes from Sudbury town which has amongst numerous shops its own Waitrose supermarket. As part of an inclusive service, for example we assist clients in accessing local Boxford Hill Surgery on Church Street and will collect prescriptions or emergency medication from North Street Pharmacy on North Street

I came across Home Instead when looking for someone to provide regular companionship for my friend, who is in residential care with dementia. Home Instead has been magnificent in the last year, some specific examples are: from the outset, the Home Instead director had very close contact with myself (who has the greatest knowledge), so that he could gain an understanding of my friend’s needs, interests and cognitive ability, thus tailoring a specific programme for visits. There was much attention to detail and a genuine interest in my friend. We have regular reviews to note changes. Information about the client/visits is held in an app which is easy to use and constantly updated. Continuity is brilliant, always the same person, always punctual, and l am always informed of any changes to the timetable. Immediate feedback on how my friend is, especially if any matters of concern are detected both to myself and the care home. I cannot recommend this company enough, hence a 5-star rating throughout.

On behalf of Mum, L., myself and all the family, thank you for the great care and support you gave to mum that enabled her to stay at home for those extra 7 months. As you know, dementia made it hard for Mum to overtly express how she felt, but we knew that Mum felt very comfortable with all the girls and enjoyed their friendship and camaraderie. Please thank Jenny, Trudi, Jasmine, Lisa and Suzi – and let them know that mum is still dancing to ABBA, just in a chair now!!

When Mum moved from Home Instead in Hertfordshire to Suffolk, we assumed we would find another branch locally to continue the high standards of care we had been accustomed to. Sadly in the Haverhill area this is not the case and whilst there are many branches around, none covered this area. It was really worrying, until the fabulous team in Braintree under the wonderful management, came to our rescue. They adopted a real ‘can do’ attitude right from the start, despite their boundary being nearly an hour from Mum’s new house. With some jigging of personnel, they found a lovely carer to care of Mum and she made the long round trip twice a week and we could not have asked for a more caring and compassionate person. Mum loves her to bits. The difference with this branch is they will bend over backwards to help you, and we could not have moved and settled Mum without their support. If I could lift their branch up and move them to Haverhill I would!! Would not hesitate to recommend.

The ladies from Home Instead who come to care for mum three times a day are amazing. They are so kind, caring, polite, patient and professional. They really are wonderful. We receive daily feedback about mum’s visits and noting is too much trouble. We cannot fault them and would highly recommend them.

My elderly father has been using Home Instead since summer 2022 and the service has been excellent. At the initial meeting, the directors and managers took time to find out exactly what his needs and interests were and since then they have kept in close contact to ensure that we are happy with the service including regular reviews as well as suggestions as to how they can improve things for him. The ladies who visit him three times a week are kind, caring, patient and attentive to his needs. He looks forward to their visits very much. Home Instead keeps in close communication in the event of any changes due to staff sickness etc and the continuity of care is excellent. The app they use is very useful and details every visit made. My father’s mental as well as physical well-being has improved greatly since starting with Home Instead and I would recommend them highly.
