We are overwhelmed with the sheer professionalism and humanity that your agency provide. You have proved to be very flexible and treat my mother with such respect and dignity. It gives us, finally, peace of mind for the times when we cannot be with mum. For that, we cannot thank you enough.

Each of the three regular caregivers treats my mother with the utmost kindness and respect, and she looks forward to their visits. Each of the ladies provides a different kind of experience from short outdoor walks to board games to exercise and massage. The visits have enabled her to continue to live independently in her home. I have nothing but appreciation for the work that the caregivers and other staff do, and I would recommend Home Instead (Basingstoke) to anyone in similar circumstances.

I have found Home Instead (Basingstoke) to be excellent in all respects. The carers are empathetic to my wife’s needs, very caring, knowledgeable, conscientious and very affable. The management act very professionally and beyond what I would have expected, referring my wife to the local surgery when necessary.

Amazed how these carers continue to be consistently ‘on time’ with visits. They always arrive with a smile and more often than not a ‘chirpy’ remark to brighten my day. I have been using this care provider for two years and three months and would not have stayed for so long if I was not very satisfied with the quality of care they provide, not just to my wife, who lights up when they come, but also to myself.

Home Instead Basingstoke are very friendly, professional and conscientious. They have provided wonderful home visits and care for my mother, who is in her nineties. She greatly enjoys their visits and they are very caring and friendly. The care staff are very good and the management team run the organisation very well in my experience, and they have all been flexible, understanding and very dependable. They have maintained their high standards consistently despite the huge challenges that Covid has added to their workload. We are very grateful for the service they provide.

Both my parents have been supported by Home Instead for many years and the service is, in all the family’s view, excellent. All the carers have been very professional, friendly, attentive, always going the extra mile, treat their clients with the utmost dignity and all in all provide a top class care service. The management team is also top class, very professional, always quick to respond, always providing solutions to problems, have always provided top class carers, and often come themselves to keep in touch with clients.

This highly professional team have looked after my mother for a couple of years. The team all demonstrate a passion for care and going the extra mile. Some of the carers became close friends to Mum. They not only provided first class care but demonstrated considerable empathy and patience. They would encourage Mum to talk of her time in the Women’s Royal Navy Service, of the family growing up and of all her memorable experiences. The visits became a social highlight for her as well as for providing essential care.

Richard, client's son

Home Instead was recommended to me when it was obvious that my mum needed extra help at home. My mum was very against having someone from outside helping her but when Home Instead came along for the initial meeting my mum warmed to them straight away. They started caring for Mum and were excellent, they turned up on time, did extras like making Mum a sandwich at lunchtime and really took the strain off my husband and me.

Sandra, client's daughter

The carers are highly professional, conscientious, empathetic and very caring.  They provide first-class care to my 91-year-old mother which allows her to live independently in her own home.  There has always been a continuity of the same carers over the past year, which has been good for Mum. I highly recommend this professional caring company.

Ann, client's daughter

Home Instead carers are doing a very good job of looking after two elderly people, both suffering with dementia. Without the carers’ daily visits, these two elderly people simply could not continue to live at home, as they cannot prepare food, hot drinks, or be trusted to take their medication. Also these two elderly people need help keeping themselves washed and dressed in clean clothes, and their home clean and tidy. The home care that Home Instead provides really does make the difference between living in the family home and going into a nursing home.

Home Instead provide daily visits to care for my mother in law, who has Alzheimer’s and other mental health issues.
Setting up care was easy, with a thorough and understanding review of what we needed. We felt very listened to.
Carers are reliable, friendly and flexible, with the client at the centre of everything. They are knowledgeable and skilled.
I feel that my mother in law is being cared for by kind, professional people and she, and I, are very happy.

We really appreciate the service offered by Home Instead in supporting my mother in her
own home; my mother likes all the care personnel that visit and she looks forward to
their visits. We were delighted that Home Instead took the trouble to find out what my
mother likes to do and her interests, and care personnel are a good ‘match.

I have been involved with Home Instead Basingstoke, initially through Let’s Move, for four years and have met many of the staff and found them very pleasant and helpful.

Very pleased with the care . Every effort is made to provide good continuity of care with
any new carers introduced to our father with an existing carer that dad is familiar with.
The carers arrive on time, are kind, friendly, respectful and provide dad every support
to allow him to stay in his own home. Thank you

We started using Home Instead care team in June last year and I couldn’t have asked
for anything more from them. Right from the initial interview when they came to
meet us we were impressed with them. They seem to have found those ‘Goldilocks’
qualities of having excellent skills, knowledge and efficiency appropriate to the job,
while being kindness itself, not only to my husband who needs the care but also in
offering much needed support to me. I could not ask for more.

My family did a lot of research before selecting Home Instead. I am very pleased with
their choice of care company.

Tailored Dementia Care in Hartley Wintney

Older people often lose touch with the lives they once enjoyed, becoming isolated at home. Home Instead Basingstoke helps them stay engaged, active, and socially connected. From walks to shopping and community events, our dementia care for the elderly is about more than just support – it’s about life.

Daphne lives alone in the centre of the village, overlooking Hartley Wintney Commons. Her son, David, is keen for her to get more interaction and stimulation, so we take her to the Forget-Me-Not Café at St John’s Church every Tuesday. There, she enjoys making new friends, chatting, and playing games over tea and cake.
