We would just like to say that all of the care for my father from Home Instead Senior Care has been excellent and performed with the most kindness, patience and attention to detail.Kim who has organised the ladies and estimated my fathers needs so accurately, has gone above and beyond her role to make sure everything and everyone is in place, meaning that despite having been sectioned at 95 , he is STILL able to live at home happily with the reassurance he needs. Kim has liased with my sister and I and my fathers social worker ...at all times of day and evening. She has been out so many times to ensure his medical needs were being met by the district nurses and other departmentsKim is always approachable and kind and reassuring. There is no doubt in our minds that Kim is in the right role and should continue to flourish in her career due to her passion for her work.So a huge thank you from myself and my family Sincerely Andrene Williamson Julie Casey ’’

“I wanted to thank you for your patience with mum over the last couple of years, as well as your support to myself. Could you also thank the carers who visited my mum, especially Monica, whose visits were particularly valuable to my mother.”

Julie

I would just like to thank all of you for the kindness and compassion you have shown Dad over the last three years as without your help I would not have been able to keep dad at home for as long as I did which was always his wish.

Without exception all of you have provided Dad with brilliant care under sometimes difficult conditions and everyone has adapted to his ever changing needs on a daily basis whilst showing him the upmost respect.

Mrs Bramwell

Very good service, excellent !

Brother Andrew

Brother Andrew,

I met Home Instead when a colleague had a serious accident and we wondered whether he would be able to able to come home to us after his hospital treatment. With help from Home Instead he is still thriving here. They offer a wide range of practical help – as and when required. In our community of men (only one of us is under eighty years old), many others have benefited from their services since then. Early this year I was seriously handicapped by a leg injury and chest infection. With home Instead’s help I have been brought back to independent living, i have found them all competent and pleasant company.

John and Alison

My wife, Alison, and I would like you to know how much we valued the care which you gave to my father, James, over the past year. Throughout that time we were very impressed by both the high professional standards maintained by the carers, and by the the very personal manner in which this caring was provided. We felt that the enhanced quality of life which James experienced during this period owed so much to the level of care he received.

Home Instead is enabling Enid to be where she most wants to be, in her home…you understand her and adapt to unpredictable moods and allow her to feel safe. Her carers see her as a person and give her time, time that others in different pathways of care are denied.

We were glad to overlap with Barbara and witness her kind attention to Enid and know that she now allows herself to be washed. The house was clean and fresh and being kept.

Home Instead are remarkable…professional care and homely kindness.

So to you, Michelle, and Barbara and Karen and others thank you for all you have done this year.

Mrs Taylor

'CG has been coming on Wednesday mornings for nearly two years, and she has been excellent - especially when there have been occasional difficult situations to deal with. She manages to combine a professional approach with a cheerful friendship, which has suited Mr Taylor and myself very well. I have recommended Home Instead and her in particular, to several people. Thank you'

Dear Alan,

I just wanted to thank you for all the support and care Home Instead have provided over the last couple of years for mum. It has not been an easy time for any of us and without the help from your staff we would not have coped. It goes without saying that Michele has been an absolute star and has always gone the extra mile. She is so dedicated to her work and is one in a million. She has such a caring nature and is an absolute asset to your services. Please pass on my thanks for all the care and companionship provided.

Mum has settled into her new home exceptionally well and we just take each day as it comes.

Best Wishes to you all

Hi Michelle Just a quick note to pass on my thanks to Anita and Melissa who have both been great with my mum this week. It is certainly piece of mind for me to know that she is being looked after well and is much happier! Melissa even managed to persuade my mum to have a shower today (She has never let anyone but me shower her before) so instead of going to give her a shower today I was able to sit and have a cup of tea with her and visit rather than 'do things', which was lovely.

Dear Karen, I am so glad you managed to be at Mum's funeral service. The lovely way in which your carers looked after mum in those last days gave her some quality of life she might not otherwise have experienced. With best wishes. Nick
