Celebrating Christmas in Home Care

At Home Instead York we make sure that the amazing work our team of Care Professionals do is recognised all year round but we go the extra mile at Christmas.

Our team provides the kind of care at home that we would all want for our own families. That includes visiting clients at home throughout the Christmas period if that’s what is required. We provide our care and support 365 days a year.

We aim to be the employer of choice in care in York and reward and recognition is an important part of that. Of course great rates of pay and guaranteed hours contracts are incredibly important to our care assistants, but a thank you for a job well done and celebrating being part of an amazing team are important too.

Christmas is a great opportunity to do this.

Every year we organise our series of events for our team, giving them a chance to get together at a Christmas lunch or a Christmas party night. Everyone receives Christmas gifts and there are extra chances to win hampers too.

Our team bring not just experience in providing care to elderly people, but a caring and compassionate personality that makes it so much easier for recipients of care at home to accept support and maintain their dignity.
