Home Instead Worthing and Steyning proud to be part of the Glamour Club.

Home Instead Worthing and Steyning were proud to be a part of the Glamour Club at the English Martyrs Catholic Church in Worthing. At Home Instead our mission is to change the face of aging, which we achieve with award winning home care. However, we are not your typical care agency, our aim is to change the face of aging and become part of the communities that we work for as well. Home Instead is passionate about cutting out loneliness in and around Worthing. As well as providing one on one companionship we are also passionate about creating and supporting events, such as the Glamour Club.

On 20th October we organised high tea, music and dancing for the people of Worthing and the surrounding areas along with It Socks to be Lonely. The event was attended by the Mayor, his wife, the Town Cryer, 70 revellers and many volunteers. Sandwiches, cake, tea and coffee were in generous supply as people turned up in their finery. Live music was provided by vocalist Karen Etherington (Click here to see Karen's Facebook Page) and she beautifully sang classics from the 40s, 50s and 60s and had many of us dancing in the aisles. Bob Smytherman, local councillor and town Cryer said that the event had been a great success and that Home Instead was the “Gold Standard” of home care in Worthing. The event was an overwhelming success and the guests are eagerly awaiting the next instalment of the Glamour Club in December.
