I have had a career in Senior Management in the Retail sector, where understanding what people really need and delivering on your promises with a focus on quality service and building strong, lasting relationships have been central to success.
Watching a very close loved one go into care made me ask lots of questions about how care services are traditionally provided, and why so many Seniors end up in residential care when,with help and support they can continue to enjoy life where they really want to be - in their own home.
When I found out about Home Instead Senior Care I knew I had discovered an organisation that would help me operate a care service which would focus on quality delivery for the individual, not just see care as a task.
I know Worcestershire well, having lived in the County for several years as well as operating businesses in the area, and I look forward to telling you more about what Home Instead Worcester can do for you.

Supporting my father with 24 hour care made me realise how important it was for people to be able to stay in their own home with their family and friends around them.
I have been with Home Instead since 2013, starting off as a CAREGiver and recently promoted to Senior Team Leader. Home Instead allows our clients and our CAREGivers to be able to build friendships and trust, allowing a more positive outcome of support.

I have over 22 years experience in care. Working for the council for 20 years. Over 5 years of my experience is working with people with dementia and feel this is where my expertise is best suited.
I came to Home Instead as I love the idea of the visits being one hour or longer and being able to build relationships with the clients.

Laura Goodridge- Head of Client Experience
Having worked as a retail manager for five years, I wanted something more rewarding. In my spare time I supported my great grandparents in their older age eventually giving me the confidence to leave retail and become a carer in the community. Working my way up to the role I am in now has given me opportunity to experience the different roles home care has to offer. Completing my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care in April 2016 has given me the knowledge to be able to support my CAREGivers with their daily workings and to understand the different aspects of care and management.
I have been with Home Instead for just over 2 years and have loved every minute of it. I am proud to work with a company who are different and strive for the best.

I have worked in care for the last 20 years. 12 of those years working for the county council. Starting off as a carer, then working my way up to senior, service planner and Duty Care manager.
I joined Home Instead 4 years ago, as assistant manager. Completing my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care in 2015 gave me the opportunity to become registered manager.
I love working for Home Instead as we get more time to spend with our clients and our CAREGivers get to visit the same ones regularly.

My Nan was diagnosed with vascular dementia ten years ago, pushing me to take an interest in her condition as I didn't know much about it. This then inspired me to start caring in the community, which I very much enjoyed and found very rewarding. To me, the little things make a big difference to someone.
I completed my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care in 2015 and worked my way up within Home Instead. I am passionate about the quality of care that is provided to our clients and strive to continually improve it.
I have worked in care since 1982. My background is Learning Disabilities before moving into elderly care in 2014. I came to Home Instead in 2016. This was my first experience of supporting people in their own homes and I have found it extremely rewarding.
I live just outside Malvern with partner Mark, 6 dogs and a horse.
Nikki Rhodes- Assistant scheduler
I have worked in care for the last 7 years both as a carer and a coordinator in Malvern, I heard about Home Instead's great reputation so applied for the role of care coordinator. I enjoy getting to speak to the clients and CAREGivers which makes the role very rewarding helping everyone and making sure they're happy with the service.
In my spare time I enjoy going for walks with my family.

I have worked in the care sector for around 22 years. I have experience in residential homes, home care, private care and hospitals. Within these roles I have experienced hands on care, administration, scheduling and assessments.
I came to Home Instead as I liked how different they were to other companies and their ethos.
I am married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren. In my spare time i run a rescue for huskies.
Claire Griffiths- Trainer
I have worked for Homestead for two and half years. Starting my journey here as a CAREGiver and then early 2016 stepping into the role of Trainer. My previous experience includes managing teams, training, recruitment and HR.
Seeing a client smile and allowing them to remain independent is so rewarding. And now, supporting CAREGivers on their journey with Home Instead by providing training is a real honour.
I live with my husband, daughter and 7 chickens. In my spare time I have a passion for hobby crafts, baking and music.
