Pennfields Social Club is a vibrant and welcoming community of over 300 members, with more than 100 of them being crown green bowling enthusiasts.
Bowling is a great activity that is enjoyed by people of all ages, and it’s no surprise that the average age of our members is about 77 years old.
The club offers top-notch facilities, with six teams playing on Wednesdays for over 60’s, one team playing on Thursday night, and five teams playing on Fridays for over 50’s. Plus, three teams on a Saturday.
Whether you are a seasoned pro or a complete novice, you are sure to have a blast!

The club offers a range of social activities that cater to everyone’s interests. From quiz nights to jazz nights, there is always something exciting going on. The snooker tables are also a popular attraction, and they have teams that play in local competitions.

At Pennfields Social Club, safety is a top priority, which is why the club recently acquired a defibrillator. We are proud to say that 25 members, including bar staff, have been trained to use the machine. Although we have not needed to use it yet, our members are delighted that we now have one.
