Bringing joy to the local community

We're so proud to announce the successful outcome of our annual "Be a Santa" campaign, which has had a remarkable impact on the local community.

Home Instead’s “Be a Santa” campaign, now in its 10th year, aims to spread holiday cheer and support isolated older individuals in the Wirral and Neston areas during the festive season. Once again Home Instead partnered with local businesses and community organisations to collect donations and provide gifts to those who needed them the most.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support of the Wirral community, the campaign was able to reach new heights. Nearly Six hundred gifts were collected, ranging from warm clothing and essential items to treats for the elderly. These carefully curated gifts were distributed to individuals in need, bringing smiles and joy to their faces during the Christmas season.

The success of the “Be a Santa” campaign is a true testament to the caring and compassionate nature of the Wirral and Neston communities. Together, we have made a tangible difference in the lives of those who may be feeling isolated or struggling during this time of the year. By coming together, we have shown that a small act of kindness can have a ripple effect, creating a stronger and more connected community.

Home Instead would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to all the individuals, businesses, and organisations who contributed to the “Be a Santa” campaign, including

#CarrFarm, #AgeUKWirral, #MorrisonsWestKirby, #JonesandChapman, #NestonAngels, #NestonCYC, #FleurAshleyTeaRooms, #WallaseyRugbyClub, #HoylakeRugbyClub and #BTEmergencyServicesCentre in Liverpool.

Their support and generosity have made this initiative a resounding success. Additionally, Home Instead would like to recognise the hard work and dedication of its care professionals and staff who coordinated the campaign, ensuring that every gift reached its intended recipient.
