Job Description

Care Assistant

Home Instead provides CQC rated outstanding care to locals in their own homes, across Runnymede, Windsor & West Spelthorne. We give highly personalised care, supporting the independence, happiness and health of our clients and we are passionate about our Care Workers satisfaction to deliver the best possible service and experience for all involved. We’re looking for Care Assistants  to visit our local clients in their own homes providing support to live independently. Our high-quality care is rated CQC Outstanding, with upwards of 1-hour visits and your own regular clients with whom you will build a bond. Duties can include:

  • Personal care – supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
  • Companionship – ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, or attending social/community events
  • Assisting your client with their medication

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Carer or Support Worker we would love to hear from you! If you do not have experience, we provide full training from the start, so we also love to hear from you too.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

Salary: £11.50-£15.00 per hour

Care Assistant - EVENINGS

Our Home Instead is committed to enhancing the lives of the clients we support as well as supporting our team.

  • Great rates of pay from £13-£15, plus double pay on bank holidays.
  • Minimum of 1-hour visits to clients giving you the time to care and get to know your clients, and no uniform as we believe it’s more friendly that way.
  • Paid mileage between calls after the first 10 miles (30p/mile)

  • That you have a warm heart and caring nature and love a care.
  • You are reliable, responsible and have a passion for making a difference to someone’s day.
  • That you live locally or are happy to travel to our clients.
  • That you have good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Experience in care (personal, dementia or other) is valuable, however full training will be given.

Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team  as a Live In Care CAREPro. As a Live In care giver, you will live in a client’s home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them remain living independently in their own home.

You need to have a minimum of 6 months of Live-in Care experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Qualifications

  • You need to have a minimum of 6 months of Live-in Care experience.
  • You would need to be eligible to live AND work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorship or help with visas.

Additional Information

As a Live In Care CAREPro, you will be provided with  an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.  In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
