Care Assistant

Home Instead provides CQC rated outstanding care to locals in their own homes, across Runnymede, Windsor & West Spelthorne. We’re looking for Care Assistants  to visit our local clients in their own homes providing support to live independently. Our high-quality care is rated CQC Outstanding, with upwards of 1-hour visits and your own regular clients with whom you will build a bond. Duties can include:

• Personal care – supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
• Companionship – ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, or attending social/community events
• Assisting your client with their medication

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Carer or Support Worker we would love to hear from you! If you do not have experience, we provide full training from the start, so we also love to hear from you too.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

Salary: £11.50-£15.00 per hour

Bring your caring personality to work and change lives. We are looking for Evening Care Assistants who want to make a difference and be part of am amazing team who support our clients with CQC rated outstanding care .

Our Home Instead is committed to enhancing the lives of the clients we support as well as supporting our team.

• Great rates of pay from £13-£15, plus double pay on bank holidays.
• Minimum of 1-hour visits to clients giving you the time to care and get to know your clients, and no uniform as we believe it’s more friendly that way.
• Paid mileage between calls after the first 10 miles (30p/mile)

EVENINGS – From 17:00 to 22:00 / 18:00-22:00

• Monday to Friday – £13 per hour
• Saturday and Sundays are paid at the enhanced rate of £15 per hour all day!
• Bank Holidays – Double hourly rate

What we ask for from our Care Professionals

• You have the right to work in the UK and are 18+ years old.
• You have a full driving licence and access to a fully insured car.
• That you have a warm heart and caring nature and love a care.
• You are reliable, responsible and have a passion for making a difference to someone’s day.
• That you live locally or are happy to travel to our clients.
• That you have good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Experience in care (personal, dementia or other) is valuable, however full training will be given.
