Nominated for the Community Hero award!

We have been nominated in the Runnymede Business Awards!

From Runnymede Borough Council’s Facebook page:

“Following more than 75 nominations, judges have now shortlisted 19 businesses for the Runnymede Business Awards. The winners will be announced at a lunch time ceremony on Friday 26 May.
Mark Adams, Chair of Business Runnymede said “I was really impressed, not only by the number of entries but also the outstanding depth and quality of the submissions. Several categories were particularly hotly contested, including Best Neighbourhood Business, Best Town Centre Business, the Community Hero Award and Sustainability Award”.

We are thrilled and humbled to have been nominated alongside so many great businesses!

This does give us cause to shout from the rooftops about who we are and what we do…

So, we’d like to introduce you to our founder, Anitra Camargo, you may have heard her on Brooklands Radio recently. If not, take a sec and listen to her interview.

Anitra will be your Facilitator at our upcoming community Wellness Workshops, This Thursday and Friday

A qualified “Train the trainer”, Anitra is super knowledgeable on about Dementia and dementia care, as well as other areas of health that can be affected as we age. She feels that these talks and workshops will be of great value to family and friends who care for those living with dementia, as well as other groups who may encounter people with different needs, retailers like garden centers, farm shops, coffee shops, supermarkets, community hubs and projects, hairdressers, and doctors’ surgeries.

So passionate and dedicated is she, that an Open Day at Home Instead  is set for June 9th, with talks and workshops and question sessions and ITS FREE to attend
