Dementia Action Week, Taking Action on Improving Dementia Diagnosis Rates

You may already have seen our posts over the last few days about how Dementia can affect different people differently, however, getting to the point where you understand that these symptoms are in fact dementia can be a long and frustration.
This year’s theme for Dementia Action Week, Taking Action on Improving Dementia Diagnosis Rates, is so important to us and we are fortunate to have a really strong local network of people who can signpost you in a positive and meaningful way. We are dedicated to making a positive difference in the quality of life for those affected by dementia and are passionate about the importance of early diagnosis, as it allows individuals and their families to plan for the future, access essential support and services, and begin treatment that can help manage symptoms.
