Twelve New Caregivers Recruited

This week Home Instead Wimbledon & Kingston welcomed twelve new Caregivers to the team. Each new recruit has been carefully selected for their dedication, empathy and compassion.

Our new ladies and gentleman have been through our three day Induction training, studying eight different modules, including. fire safety, health and hygiene, food preparation and safeguarding.

They will go on to to participate in Moving and Handling and First Aid training.... finishing off with Basic Dementia training. They will also take part in the fantastically accessible training provided by Parkinson's UK, The Alzheimer's Society, The Stroke Association and Princess Alice Hospice End of Life training. We believe in giving each Caregiver the tools they need to provide the most appropriate quality care they can to each of our clients.

As well as all this training we have obtained SIX references for each new Caregiver and an enhanced disclosure CRB.........!!!
Only then are they ready to care for our clients!!!
