£1000 raised for Macmillan from 'Just a walk in the park'
We were so very proud to be able to hand over a cheque for £1000 to Macmillan Cancer Support last night ! On a very hot Saturday in July, our team of Caregivers, families and friends from the community took part in ‘Just a Walk in the Park’. Through their donations and match funding from Home Instead Wimbledon & Kingston and Richmond this huge amount was raised. Clare attended the Macmillan Merton meeting last night and handed over a cheque. This money will remain in Merton and go towards funding for a Macmillan Support Worker based at St George’s Hospital. Clare is also delighted to be joining the Macmillan Merton committee and helping the fabulous team raise more funds in the future. What a great way to spend a Monday!
