Out and About with... Mr and Mrs G and Obie

Our Clients and Care Pros review places they have visited together for our 'Out and About With...' blogs!

Where did they go?
Bristol Zoo Project, Blackhorse Hill, Bristol. BS10 7TP.

A very short distance from the M5 motorway junction, you can discover wildlife from around the world including bears, giraffes, cheetahs, lemurs and more at Bristol Zoo Project!

Mr & Mrs G had a fabulous time exploring the natural beauty of the Bristol Zoo project with their daughter, and their Live-in Care Pro, Obie. They especially liked seeing the meerkats and exotic birds in the Walled Garden section.

At The Bristol Zoo Project, they have tried to keep paths and woodland walks as natural as possible. Therefore, some areas may not be accessible to wheelchairs. They recommend that visitors who are requiring a wheelchair visit the Visitor Information (next to the shop) to see how they can maximise their visit. There are no slopes, hills or rough terrain, but some people may become a little anxious travelling over a natural walkways in a wheelchair. Mr & Mrs G made the most out of their visit by following the wheelchair friendly route and enjoying everything the saw along the way.

Opening times: The Bristol Zoo Project is open daily from 10am – 5pm. Last entry to the Project and Bear Wood is 4pm.
