Home Instead Westminster does the Thames Bridge Trek to raise funds for Dementia UK

Our office team from Home Instead Westminster, Anna, Emma and Fred, took part in the Thames Trek challenge this weekend together with Fred’s daughter Victoria.

Setting out from Putney Bridge - we headed east towards the City, zig-zagging over the array of historic bridges - each with its own fascinating story - 25km later, it was a finish line celebration in Southwark past the majestic Tower Bridge.

Anna, Emma, Fred and Victoria took part in the walk to raise money for Dementia UK. They often work together with local organisations to ensure people living with Dementia get the best possible care. The Admiral Nurses that work for Dementia UK do amazing work for the families and those living with Dementia.

We completed the challenge in 6 hours 9 minutes and 55 seconds.

The walk took much training and preparation with hours of walking through London.

The support we have seen has been amazing and we managed to smash the fundraising target!

The JustGiving page is still online where you can find out much more on their story as well as donate! Dementia UK are an  amazing charity so please donate where you can.
