Home Instead Westminster CAREGivers receive their Alzheimer’s City & Guilds Certificates

CAREGivers have been undergoing specialist training in order to provide the best care possible to their clients with Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias

This unique City and Guilds accredited caregiver training programme, which is developed by a team of world-renowned ageing and dementia specialists, is part of Home Instead’s CARE (Changing Ageing through Research and Education) approach. Its aim is to ensure that Home Instead caregivers are armed with the knowledge and techniques to help their clients with dementia to live independently in their own homes for longer, as well as offering much needed support to the family members and loved ones.

The Home Instead Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementia training will ensure that caregivers, who are chosen specifically for their passion and desire to help others, are more prepared to manage the many different and sometimes challenging behaviours associated with dementia.
