Fred - Owner
Since Home Instead gave me the opportunity to join their team of owners and manage the office in Westminster and the city of London, I have been really touched seeing up close and personal what a difference that quality care can make to people's lives. I love working in our community and I am very proud of the service that we are delivering. The heart of our business is the team of wonderful CAREGivers who, like me, truly want to make a difference.
Prior to joining Home Instead, I worked in both the voluntary sector and the private sector here in London and overseas holding various Human Resources management positions and successfully led large teams of HR professionals in the UK and across Europe.
Emma - Operations Manager
Emma started with Home Instead as a Care Professional and found a real passion for working with all different people. She is an advocate for person centred, holistic care and enjoys working together with individuals to make sure everyone’s experience is unique to them.
Emma now oversees all care operations and is particularly passionate about matching the right Care Pro with the right client making time to get to know everyone well.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys putting on her walking boots and going for long walks or climbing different peaks. She also likes to find ways to upcycle her furniture at home.
Vanessa - Client Experience Manager
Vanessa joined Home Instead with more than eight years’ experience supporting older people in their own homes. She worked together with Home Instead Care Professionals in her previous role as a live-in carer in a small town. She joined Home Instead Westminster as she particularly liked the ethos.
Vanessa always finds ways to improve her clients’ day. Vanessa builds meaningful relationships with all her clients and provides exemplary person-centred care for each individual. Vanessa has become a support for her colleagues to give and advice and someone to speak to.
Vanessa is a keen photographer. She enjoys capturing portraits, as well as street art. When she is home she enjoys cooking and baking for friends. She likes being outside, walking and roller-skating everywhere, come rain or shine. As she says; ‘being Welsh, I do not mind getting wet’.
Soraia - Care Supervisor
Soraia joined the Home Instead family with a wealth of knowledge in care, she worked mainly with children in a hospital setting more recently but has experience with adults and senior generations previously.
She has rediscovered her passion, working with the elderly and has been such a valuable member of the team since she joined. Clients always say how caring and loving she is.
Soraia loves dance and healthy eating and can speak fluent Portuguese!
Viktorija - Care Coordinator
Viktorija joined Home Instead having previously worked with people with Learning disabilities and Autism. She also has a background in dementia care.
Viktorija enjoys getting to know elderly people as they have so much to share. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people and support them to carry on living a fulfilled life. Viktorija hopes to change the face of care by empowering clients. “I believe that we are born to experience and celebrate all ages and stages.”
On her free time you will find her out in the nature, walking the dog or enjoying local street market foods.
Ana - Senior CAREGiver
After starting part time with Home Instead Westminster as a Caregiver, Ana decided to quit her other job to start a career in care full time and soon joined our team of Senior Caregivers.
Being very creative and positive, Ana always finds ways to improve her client’s day by offering new activities. She is also a great cook and likes creating menus for her clients.
Ana always likes to learn more about history and art. She loves fashion, sewing and knitting.
And when not working on a new fashion project, Ana does a bit of painting and drawing.
Helen - Senior CAREGiver
Helen joined Home Instead with 11 years’ experience in social care.
Since joining Home Instead, Helen has worked with a number of people with dementia and Alzheimers, and significantly improved their quality of life.
In her spare time Helen likes reading, listening to music and going to the restaurant. Being a true Londoner, Helen shares with Fred a passion for Jellied eels.
