Hi. We are Home Instead. We offer reliable and compassionate senior home care in Pinner. Come on in and learn how we can help your family today.
At Home Instead Pinner, we provide compassionate senior home care with a big dose of empathy, which we continue to win awards for.
The secret to our success is our holistic approach to well-being. You see to us, it’s about providing support that goes beyond the physical tasks and working with seniors to promote a balance in emotional and mental health.
It’s also about working with the wider family, to make sure you all feel connected and supported during this important time.
A big part of what we do is reengaging those who have become housebound with a sense of community and offering a gentle and patient approach for those who struggle with ill health or deeper conditions, like dementia. But we also help those who need just a little help to keep them active and happy in their communities (offering everything from day trips to cleaning and meal prep).
It is important to us that seniors feel seen, feel heard and feel respected. And that goes for you, too. Families also need compassion and support during what can be a difficult time.
So, if you need a home care company with expert care pros who truly care, we’d love to chat. We have a diverse mix of care pros trained and ready to go.
To deliver you an outstanding experience, we pride ourselves on offering five core elements to your home care. These include:
And we can provide as little or as much help as you need, from weekly check-ins to 24-hour live-in care.
What makes us different to your average home care provider is that everything we do is about providing compassionate reassurance, and dignity that encourages seniors to continue living life on their terms.
“My wife suffers from Dementia but is a very active person. Home Instead was very careful to match a carer to fit my wife’s needs and always checked with me for input on what I think is best for my wife. When I phone the office I always speak with cheery and helpful person who tries very hard to meet my requests. Usually Andrea.
I have two carers assigned to my wife, Graham and Gulay, who are both very professional, trustworthy, reliable, always on time and never in a rush to leave, both are very capable at using their initiative. Both Graham and Gulay feel like family friends and when they bring my wife home she is always got a smile on her face and is happy and cheerful. Graham takes her swimming, plays an adaptive type of badminton at the local sports centre and Gulay will often take her for a walk if the weather is ok. Going window shopping and having a tea or coffee is also an option.
Sometimes Graham and Gulay need to change their days, they talk to each other about how best to organise the events of the day, what has gone before and any issues there might be. I have been very impressed in their professionalism, cheeriness and friendly approach.
I can’t thank them enough, it gives my wife a great time and I get some much needed respite.”

Vicky has worked at Home Instead for several years and has been promoted from care professional to care manager. During that time, she built a team of expert carers and supported them in delivering exceptional care. She also supports families like yours, who manage daily care alongside busy family lives.
“I have been working as a Care manager for Home Instead for 2 years. I’ve also had time out in the field as a carer and spent 7 years in the NHS, gaining a vast amount of experience.
I love my role as a care manager and meeting various individuals who require support (little or extensive). Getting to know them and their past is both very interesting and rewarding. I love building relationships with clients and their families. Seeing the smiles on clients’ faces really does make my day.
I have a great team that gives the best care and thinks outside the box. I’m there to support them all the way, and my door is always open no matter what they need.”
Bernadine (Bee) moved to the UK from South Africa in 2015, having worked extensively on her family’s elephant rehabilitation project, which included safari lodges. Moving in with her brother, she started looking for a new way of living. Sadly, tragedy struck, and just before COVID, Bee’s brother was diagnosed with cancer. Bee became his full-time carer.
Having always admired care professionals, it was only when her brother told her that of all his siblings, he thought she was the most empathetic and sympathetic for this kind of work that Bee finally felt encouraged to apply and start working in the care sector. That’s when she found Home Instead.
“The job (being a Care Professional) has taught me so much. How to have more humility and the power of being humbled. But it has also given me my smile back.
I provide domiciliary care, personal care and palliative care. What I love most about that work is the diversity of the seniors I care for. Their life experiences are rich and varied.
At Home Instead, I get an opportunity to spend time with clients and make what I do about putting their needs first. I also get to work locally, which gives me plenty of time in between clients to visit my brother.”
Yes! We are always happy to support couples through their golden years. Each will have their own dedicated carer(s), but will be managed under one dedicated Care Manager for ease of communication.
Certainly! We will match you with a care pro who loves your pets as much as you do. They can assist on walks, with feeding, and attending vet appointments.
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on offering care services that wrap around your loved ones, giving them the support they need to live independently as they always have.
We can offer help to pray if they need it. If they wish to observe a religious holiday (for example, Hanukkah or Diwali), our carers can assist where needed. If they have preferences or customs around food or people in their home we are happy to oblige.
We offer our clients daily check-ins, plus full phone and email support. You will also have a dedicated care manager overseeing care provision.
And we welcome your input. For us, the best home care is where care feels like home to your loved one.
