Home Instead Senior Care Warrington hosted a chippy lunch at St Peters Court, St Peters Way to mark “National Chip Week”.

Gary Wells from Home Instead Senior Care Warrington asked Osman Gulum from the award winning The Greenwood Fryery on Marsh House Lane to kindly donate chips for lunch. Osman said, “I love to support the people of Warrington and to do charity work. I also like to support companies like Home Instead who care for elderly people in the town who already do a fantastic job; it was great meeting the residents of St Peters Court, when Gary asked if I could help, I was happy to oblige”.

The event was well attended and the residents certainly enjoyed the lunch. Gary said, “This was my last event for Home Instead Warrington; I wanted to do an event at St Peters Court as they have supported us over the past years. I have really enjoyed meeting the residents here and giving something back to them, it’s been a real joy to do.

The lunch provided a change for the residents and they certainly had a great time. I would like to thank Stephen Reynolds (Scheme Manager) of St Peters Court for allowing Home Instead to host the event and also Osman Gulum of The Greenwood Fryery for donating the chippy lunch.”
