Our Community Engagement Officer- Lee

Lee began working as a Care Professional for Home Instead in the Autumn of 2022, having not worked in care in the past, but as a butcher and in warehousing. During his time working in other industries, he spent part of his free time volunteering for Age UK and Appropriate Adult. Lee decided to apply for roles as a carer as he loves making a positive difference to peoples lives, and believes that Home Instead Wakefield is the perfect place to do so. In the Winter of 2022, Lee was promoted to Community Engagement Officer

As apart of the role of Community Engagement Officer, Lee organises all of our events, especially our successful Friendship Lunches. They run 3 times a month in Wakefield and Ossett to encourage members of the community to get out of the house for an afternoon for laughs, live music and meet new friendly people.
