The Truro, Falmouth & Redruth Companionship Care team, here to help every step of the way
Our companionship care services are at the heart of what we do and what makes us very different – focussing on building trust through developing meaningful relationships with our clients and their families. To do this requires time – longer-visits of at least 1 hour. We match our Care Professional to our clients and introduce them in advance to ensure our clients and Care Professionals can really get to know one another and build a trusting relationship. We work hard to establish how we can support our clients to do what they enjoy – be it chatting, cooking, watching TV, playing card games, reading or gardening. We can also organise trips out to the shops, local attractions, a place of worship or to see their friends and family.

“A wonderful company staffed by professional and kind staff who have made a real impact on the quality of life for my father and mother, as his carer. Right from the first meeting with the care manager we were impressed and reassured. The company believes in and delivers, a small team approach to care with wonderful, reassuring and knowledgeable carers. They really engage with Dad throughout the sessions, but also keep an eye on Mum. A massive thank you from all the family.”
Mrs Sue L - Daughter of client

“I cannot recommend Home Instead Truro highly enough. They cared for my aunt in her home for 5 years and were amazing in their support for her changing needs. The continuity of carers was particularly reassuring for my aunt and all her carers were excellent – always friendly and caring. The manager, Richard is very personable, as well as professional and caring. He was always available and quick to respond to any queries, which was especially welcome as I did not live near my aunt. Thank you to all at Home Instead for all you did.”
Ian R - Nephew of client

“Human beings treating human beings as they would like to be treated themselves is all that needs to be said about this excellent provider. From the start of a difficult journey, and during, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support we have received. Special mention must go to the care manager and another member of staff in particular to whom we will always be very grateful. On behalf of our entire family, thank you.”
Mark B - Son of client

“The Truro branch of Home Instead provided care for our mother for over two years until her recent death. The standard and reliability were outstanding in all aspects. The carers consistently provided Mum with exactly what she needed. Without a doubt, the Home Instead team were the main factor in allowing my mother to stay in her own home during her final years, which was her most fervent and often-expressed wish.”
Carol A - Daughter of client

“I can’t rate this service highly enough. My mum is cared for by a team of warm, kind and friendly professionals. She feels looked after, listened to and cared for. The service is extremely reliable, flexible and well organised, going out of their way to ensure that my mum has all the support she needs.
I would recommend this service to anyone looking for care for a relative, it has had a really positive impact on all our lives.”
Matthew R - Son of client
