The Sunday Times features our live-in care
Our live-in care clients have benefited enormously from this new service. We’re delighted that the Sunday Times has shone the light on one of the many happy stories we have made possible.
On 20th December, we were featured in a Sunday Times article about live-in care. One client from the Chichester & Bognor Regis office shared his experiences over the past few months. Peter Stross, 94, was admitted to hospital in July, before being discharged to a care home. Seeing his wife Isobel and the rest of the family was difficult, and they were all determined to find an alternative. They came across Home Instead’s live-in care.
Thanks to Peter’s wonderful carer, Faith, he has been reunited with Isobel and other loved ones just in time for Christmas. Now the pair can enjoy the life they have always enjoyed together, yet receive the care that Peter needs.
Also in the piece is a quote from Martin Jones, CEO, who highlights how the pandemic has made many of us rethink the care we choose. Home gives the comfort, safety and freedom we crave as we get older, and that’s what we want to give our live-in care clients.
We hope that 2021 will bring us many more positive live-in care stories.
