Wellbeing Coordinator - Natasha Bainbridge

Natasha is the Wellbeing Coordinator for Tavistock Area, a role hosted by Counsellors Southwest.

Natasha outlines Tavistock Area Wellbeing as ‘a social prescribing service for Tavistock, Bere Alston, Lifton, Princetown and Yelverton.  Any adult in these areas who is socially isolated, is a carer, or has 2 or more long-term conditions can ask their GP to refer them to our team. My role as a Wellbeing Coordinator is to find out what matters most to people and then to help them connect into the community in ways that feel appropriate for them.  This may be via community groups, services, or activities.’

Tavistock Area Wellbeing can:

  • Meet with you to help you identify your own health/wellbeing needs and priorities
  • Listen to you to help improve your experience of care and support
  • Improve your wellbeing and reduce any feelings of social isolation.

Natasha is a wonderful counsellor and works incredibly hard to look after members of our community. Natasha has referred people to Home Instead’s CST sessions and other such services we offer.

Tavistock Area Wellbeing has been made possible by the Improved Better Care Fund – administered by Devon County Council and Devon CCG and West Devon Primary Care Network. The programme is sponsored by Tavistock Area Health Alliance.
