Hospital Discharge

The NHS stopped publishing data on bed blocking during 2023 but data showing NHS bed occupancy paints a picture of an NHS struggling with capacity. Derriford Hospital has declared its second critical incident this year. Part of the problem is the high number of patients, who are medically fit to return to the community, remaining in hospital due to delayed discharge. At this time of year winter pressures are putting even more pressure on the healthcare system. We are here to help get you home quickly where you will recover better safe in your own environment.

What Does Nature Mean to You?

Some of the participants of Okey Memory Cafe chose to take part in some special filming. A very special production company, Biggerhouse Film CIC, helped the participants and their loved ones make the films in a truly collaborative process.  Everyone was able to express how being in nature made them feel and the results are  sensitive, emotive and thought provoking.  We hope to be able to share some of the films shortly.
