Louisa O'Gorman- Recruitment & Training Co-ordinator

I started working with Home Instead Senior Care in August 2018. My Responsibilities are in recruiting new CAREGivers and supporting them through the training and induction process.
I have many years of experience working in customer service within the leisure industry and enjoy meeting and talking to people and making a difference to their lives.
Being part of a Care company who strive on going the extra mile really is something to be proud of. The level of care and compassion given to all the staff and clients makes it a pleasure to come into work each day.

Tracy Hallows- Client Services Supervisor

I joined Home Instead, as a CAREGiver, in July 2019. I popped in for a coffee and a chat and left with an application form and dates in my diary for Welcome Week. At the time I was working in education, where I had been for 19 years and my CAREGiving filled evenings and weekends. As I gained experience in elderly care I found that I was enjoying it more and more and lockdown, cemented for me, its value and importance in society. I had been talking about challenging myself for many years and so when the role of Client Services Supervisor was advertised I decided to take the leap! I hoped that my Home Instead CAREGiver experience would provide value within the office team.

I have a background in the pharmaceutical industry and care within an education setting, as well as having first-hand experience of the care sector. I really enjoy my daily contact with clients and their families, our terrific CAREGivers and, of course, the office team. They have made me feel so welcome.

Kayleigh Redgate- Care Manager

I started working for Home Instead as Care Manager in June 2021. Having completed my Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, I wanted a new challenge and I am so grateful to Home Instead for offering me that opportunity!

As Care Manager, it is my responsibility to ensure that our clients are safe and receiving the highest level of care, overseeing the care team and our wonderful team of CAREGivers.

I have several years experience in the health and social care sector, and prior to that I spent 10 years in a profession that promotes dignity, excellent client service, compassion and empathy – so a career in care was a natural progression!

I am passionate about enabling people to live independently in their own homes, for as long as possible, whilst also ensuring they live their lives to the fullest, and enjoy every day. I have never had a job so fulfilling and rewarding as working with the elderly within my community, and seeing the difference we make to people’s lives on a daily basis.

Kayleigh-Ryan Palmer Care Coordinator

I started working for Home Instead in August 2021. My roles and responsibilities are to help the care team provide exceptional care to all our clients in our community. Prior to joining Home Instead, I was a community carer in the local area. A role I was very passionate about. I thrived in helping others and found working in a team very rewarding. I knew that I wanted to further my abilities and skills and continue a career in care. Which is why I was so excited to be given the opportunity to become a care coordinator! It’s a new venture for me, but one I am very much looking forward to tackling head on. I couldn’t be more thrilled about being able to help make a difference in people’s lives and pursuing my passion!

Susan Bright- Receptionist

I started working for Home Instead in August 2021 as a Receptionist. My background has always been customer service based, having spent 20 years in various reception roles, most recently this has been within private Health Care surgeries.

I was instantly attracted to this role and can see that Home Instead is a wonderful caring company who do their upmost to enable Clients to stay independently in their own home. I am so looking forward to working with the wonderful CAREGivers and Clients.

In my spare time I drive a tractor on a local farm whilst helping to look after a herd of 500 cows! I love spending time with my family, I look after my gorgeous grandchildren which keeps me busy. I also enjoy exploring the UK and especially the local area.

Hannah Sharland- Receptionist

Home Instead is my first experience of working in care and this is a role I was born to do. I joined the team in September 2021.

Prior to working for Home Instead, I spent 11 years in a busy optical and audiology environment. I worked my way through the company, experiencing different avenues, challenging myself and eventually ended up as a Learning and Development Specialist across 3 busy high street stores in the South West. My role included training new recruits into the world of optics and audiology, whilst always leading by example. Providing an excellent level of customer service is always at the heart of what I do.

When I had my first child, I became very poorly. It opened my eyes to the Health and Care sector and I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I wanted to give back what had been given to me. Home Instead do this to another level and I’m so excited and proud to be part of this wonderful team.
