There is real reassurance in having someone there who gets to know you well. Over time, your Care Professional becomes familiar with your routines, preferences and how you are from day to day, so they are often able to notice small changes in things like appetite or mood and raise them early. For families, especially those who live further away from Swansea, that regular presence can be a real comfort. Your Care Professional will have a bedroom of their own in the home and is on hand through the day, with proper breaks, and close by overnight should anything unexpected happen. Where more support is needed at night, we are glad to discuss it and arrange it. To keep the care consistent, most of our longer-term clients are supported by two Care Professionals who take it in turns to live in, a few weeks at a time, and our local team looks after the handovers between them.
Our live-in care is fully managed by a team based here in Swansea, which means we look after every part of the arrangement on your behalf.
