Day Care in Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen

A totally reliable, trustworthy and compassionate care provider.  The Caregivers regularly went above and beyond our expectations, treating our Dad with respect and dignity. All care is person centred, and the portal lets family members both see and understand what help is provided to their relative on a daily basis. This was extremely reassuring as my sister and I were unable to make daily visits ourselves.

We have been extremely happy with the care that Home Instead provides.
The carers are wonderful and treat my parents with compassion, dignity and respect. The carers work very hard and have very high professional standards and are constantly thinking not just about my father’s physical needs but his emotional needs too. They are friendly, approachable and always willing to go the extra mile.

The member of staff we dealt with from Home Instead was an absolute godsend in ensuring we could get my Aunt home from hospital in her final few days. She rallied her team in a matter of hours to provide 24-hour care. She organised the district nurse team and even drove to get medication when the hospital omitted to send it home with my aunt.

From the initial staff members helping arrange the care package and fill in the forms to the carers themselves, everyone at Home Instead was patient friendly and outstandingly helpful. On one occasion we needed someone at very short notice and the office staff sorted this out quickly and happily, despite the fact it must have entailed some complicated schedule changes for them.

I am not joking or trying to pull the wool over your head, but the care which your Company gives me through Kxxxx is absolutely fabulous and really could not be bettered.  I laugh out loud with sheer amazement when one minute I am hardly recognisable and the next minute I am completely dry, dressed and ready for the world.  The understanding of my mind is perfect.

I wanted to thank everyone based in the office for their roles in looking after Mum and Dad so successfully at home.  We feel so grateful they have been able to stay there so long and that has been down to the support Home Instead has provided us with.  We found you to be professional, kind, compassionate and with a great ‘can do’ attitude as a team which was very supportive to us. Your willingness to work with us and seeing us as part of the team was, we felt, crucial to being able to give Mum and Dad the best possible support.

I am extremely happy with the support provided to my dad by his Home Instead CareGivers.
In my experience, they are well organised, friendly, reliable, attentive to his individual needs, and allow him to make his own decisions whilst ensuring that he remains safe in his own home.

Mom asked me to send an email to pass on her thanks for the lovely Carol Concert she attended last week with Sue. It sounded like they had a really enjoyable time and Mom chatted none stop afterwards about what she’d seen and heard.

Our grateful thanks to Sue for taking such good care of Mom, as we knew she would (And on Sue’s Birthday too!)  Mom took some persuading to attend, she’s understandably lost a lot of confidence, but every little step helps.

My parents have been using Home Instead since January 2023 and since this time the service they have received has been outstanding. Their health has also improved in this time and the team provide a nutritious meal for them daily along with little chats, sing songs and fun. I cannot praise them enough.

Thank you to all the staff and care team that have helped with my dad. [His Care Professionals] have been amongst the few people that have managed to get a smile or laugh out of my dad since we lost my mum. And also thanks to [the office] for all your hard work with frequent changes to the care schedules over the last couple of years!  We’ve all said that we’d happily recommend you to anyone that needed you and have already done so several times!

K is superb at what she does. She is so kind and just helps me in every way she can.  At all times she brings fun into our conversations and makes me feel free and full of enjoyment. I also feel she insures that every room is put back into its normal situation and provides me with a cup of tea.

I greatly value the companionship provided to Mum and the kindness she is shown “beyond the call of duty.” A shout-out should also be given to the backroom office staff who manage the schedules and are always friendly, professional, reassuring and speedily available to assist if required.

Our regular carer has bought laughter and joy to my parent’s home which has been much needed when times have been tough. I think that the electronic portal has been a very useful and enhances communication. The scheduler has adapted the schedule to meet my father’s changing needs and when I am given a timescale in which answers will be given this is always kept.

The care and dedication provided by the Home Instead team was incredible. Their compassion at such a difficult time cannot be faulted. They gave me the respect and friendship my Aunt needed in her final few days.  I cannot recommend this wonderful team enough. I only wish everyone had access to this kind of care. The individual carers brought different qualities and interests with them, giving my mother not just great care but friendly and stimulating conversation with someone other than me! Everyone was utterly reliable and it was so reassuring to know that my mother was in the very safe hands of such skilful and truly caring people.

Home Insteads standards are out of this world and the level of care you provide is outstanding and I’m incredibly proud to have been a part of it. I’m thankful for all the support I have been given since I first started in 2018. It’s an absolute dream boat of a job, any one should be highly honoured to be employed by such a well established care company. Each and every member of staff in the office work terribly hard for the care pros and the clients and you should all be so proud of yourselves.

I would like to express my gratitude with regards to the care professionals employed by Home Instead. Without exception, my Carers have been exceptional in the first few weeks since I changed agencies to Home Instead. They are always friendly, willing to help and have made my life so much easier. I very much appreciate their attitude to work and how professional they are in ensuring that gloves are changed, masks are worn etc. They are a credit to the organisation. In addition I’d like to express my gratitude with the manner in which telephone calls are answered at Home Instead. I’ve been impressed by how friendly and willing to help staff have been.

Thanks so much for being so patient with Mom yesterday, I felt the visit went so well and my parents were very comfortable with you, you were brilliant and so kind. Despite Mom forgetting the purpose, I could tell she really enjoyed the chat.

Everything from care needs to personal likes has been taken into consideration and I cannot fault the time and hard work from the office team.  As someone in their thirties, I find this is very important and I feel like I can continue socialising and enjoying my independence, even with my own team with me.  Thanks to the fantastic care and support, I feel like I can accomplish anything with Home Instead

Home Instead has been a life changer. From the very first meeting with them, the
agency has always put me first and has taken the time to get to know me. Everything
from care needs to personal likes has been taken into consideration and I cannot fault

The lovely people in the office are supportive and don’t make me feel daft if I need to

call the office to check anything. I love the values of home instead and love the worth

while job I do. The best job I have ever had and I wish I did this years ago.

The initial consultation was friendly and informative. They took a lot of information about mom to find out all about her life and what she does and doesn’t like. They continue to help her improve strength by exercising and taking little walks. The communication is great whether it’s a call, an email or a little note to let us know if she is getting low on anything as we go in the evenings. Excellent service all round thank you.
