At Home Instead (Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen) we know that looking after our Care Professionals is the best way to achieve outstanding care for our clients.
Outstanding, relationship-led homecare can have a significant impact on wellbeing for seniors, so we work very hard to match our care assistants with the people they visit, paying attention to personality and interests, then we create recurring schedules so that clients and care assistants have the continuity that they need to build those caring relationships. Lastly, we make sure that every visit is always long enough to care properly. With Home Instead there are never any of the short visits that force carers to rush their work, forcing them to cut corners without properly engaging with the person they are caring for. All of this makes for truly rewarding jobs and is reflected in our award as a five star employer.
We work closely with every homecare professional to create jobs which give them the work-life balance that they need. Our homecare assistant roles can be full time or part time, hourly or Live-In and we are able to offer hours which focus on mornings for those early birds who like to have the rest of the day to themselves or evenings, often for Mums who can only work once their partner is home from their own job. Every carer we employ has their own unique schedule, so give us a call to see if we have the right solution for your working needs.
Our desire to create career pathways is personified by our Care Manager, Trica who started as a Caregiver 9 years ago before progressing as a Senior Caregiver, Client Care Coordinator and Head of Client Experience, taking all of her care qualifications along the way before her current role. After passing their care certificate and on-the-job support, we encourage our care professionals to take their level 3 qualification in health and social care as well as regular CPD courses on topics such as Parkinson’s and Dementia Care (which won the Princess Royal Training Award).
We always have enquiries from new clients who want to receive outstanding homecare from Home Instead so you can usually find an advert on Indeed or on Facebook, but rather than completing an online form, why not call us direct or pop in to our Hagley Office for an informal chat? You do not need previous experience because the most important factor is having a caring heart. We are proud to be an age friendly employer and we employ carers from age 18 to 80 so you are never too young or too old to care! We would love to hear from you and explain more about working with Home Instead in the most rewarding job there is. You Can Care!
