Home Instead are over the moon to announce that we have been awarded the accolade of England’s Number 1 Care Provider again by Laing & Buisson. Laing & Buisson is the UK’s most respected provider of information on the independent health, community care & childcare sectors, and every year they produce a ‘Care Compliance Report” based on data pulled from over 17,000 care homes and home care companies. And who is at the top of the table for the second year running? Home Instead that’s who!
The quarterly produced ‘Care Compliance Report’ includes headline reviews from the Care Quality Commission’s inspection reports, and so presents an easily digestible view of any care provider’s performance. The aforementioned league table illustrates the percentage of inspected care providers who are fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission’s core standards – which cover such important items as safeguarding, staffing, respect for service users, management and care.
Chief Executive of Home Instead, Trevor Brocklebank, said: “I am immensely proud to hear these results today. We are totally focussed on providing top quality care for older people, care which is tailored to the needs of individuals and which allows them to remain in their homes, leading an independent life. The work we do also bring peace of mind to their families, and this is also hugely important. What these results confirm is that our teams across the country, and in particular our dedicated and committed CAREGivers, are doing great work and it is gratifying to see this recognised by a leading industry organisation.”
Trevor finished by personally thanking all 6,500 CAREGivers: “I would like to thank each and every one of our CAREGivers for the work they do - we could not have achieved this result without you.”
This is a fantastic result for Home Instead, and we are justifiably proud of the outcome of every single person’s hard work. Our aim is to allow older people to carry on living in their homes, with the care and support of a team of CAREGivers whose main focus is dignity and care. From taking a client out for afternoon tea, to getting them bathed and dressed, our CAREGivers ensure that everything they do has a positive effect on both the client and their family. To have this recognised by a world leading organisation is truly the icing on the cake.
