Clients, CAREGivers and Office Staff enjoyed a Christmas lunch and an afternoon at the pantomime in Stockport. A party of 9 Clients and 6 staff ate a slap up lunch at the Office of at home care company Home Instead in Stockport before departing to revel at the marvels of Jack and the Beanstalk at The Plaza in Stockport.
Commenting on the performances of Claire Sweeney and Paul Shane, Michele Bushell, Registered Care Manager said, “We all had a wonderful afternoon and everyone said how much they had enjoyed their day. Some Clients had not been to a pantomime for over 50 years!” One Client phoned later to say, “Thank you for a lovely day, I have not had so much fun in years. Can we go again next year?”
Everyone tucked in to an ice cream at the interval and sang along with the cast, accompanied by the resident organist. Clients were delivered safely home by Easy Go CT, a local wheelchair friendly transport company.
“The whole day went really well and everyone got into the spirit of the pantomime (oh no they didn’t!). Clients made new friends and everyone has asked about our next outing” said Franchise Owner, Joanna Moore.
