Pamper Day for Carers

Caregivers at Home Instead Senior Care in Stockport work tirelessly throughout the year providing outstanding care for their clients. To celebrate National Carers Week in June Home Instead, along with a number of other local businesses, took the opportunity to treat caregivers with donations of meals, bubbly, hair do’s and facials to say thank you for the fantastic work they do.

Gemma Hardern is one of Stockport’s caregivers who is also a self employed massage and beauty therapist at Healing Hands. Gemma came in to treat the caregivers to some well earned indulgence by giving hand, head, back and shoulder massages. She is pictured here giving Lorraine Nasse a hand massage. At seventy one years old Lorraine is Home Instead in Stockport’s oldest caregiver.

Never ones to exclude their clients, Home Instead also invited them to pop in and they were treated to a delicious lunch provided by Deli-Dish. Deli-Dish supplies home cooked, nutritious frozen meals containing fresh ingredients. Both clients and caregivers really enjoyed the food and the party atmosphere.
