Sorya receiving her award with Care Manager Michele Bushell.

This month the “Making a Difference Award” has been presented to Sorya Kazam. Sorya has been a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care since July 2009. She comes into the office regularly and occasionally brings in a selection of food she has cooked, which the office staff love. She is a dedicated CAREGiver who always gives 100% in supporting her clients. I have recently had two clients specifically call me to feedback what a great job Sorya is doing supporting them and a client’s daughter has also called me to say that the work Sorya does with her Mum is outstanding. It is great to know that Sorya is making a difference to the quality of our client’s lives.

Sorya was so grateful when she received her MAD Award; she was ever so thankful for this and couldn’t be happier. Well done Sorya!! :-) When she was asked to attend the office, her first thought was that she had done something wrong. We soon put her mind at rest and assured her that it was her great work that had been brought to our attention.

The MAD Award goes to CAREGivers who we think have really made a difference to our client’s lives, by either making something a lot easier for them, by giving them someone to talk to or just genuinely being there for their clients. The MAD Award is something that CAREGivers like to strive for within their work and really try to ‘make a difference’.

If you would like to know more about the great work we do to support our clients, please give Michele Bushell, our Care Manager a call on 0161 480 0646 or alternatively go to our website:
