This month the “Making a Difference Award” has been presented to Caroline Sheridan. Caroline has been a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care since February 2011. She comes into the office regularly and she is a dedicated CAREGiver who always gives 100% in supporting her clients. A Client whom we have been looking after for over 5 years recently phoned to tell us that: “Caroline has been just exceptional. She has been a real comfort to me”.
Caroline was so grateful when she received her MAD Award; she was ever so thankful for this and couldn’t be happier. Well done Caroline!! :-) When she was asked to attend the office, her first thought was that she had done something wrong. We soon put her mind at rest and assured her that it was her great work that had been brought to our attention.
The MAD Award goes to CAREGivers who we think have really made a difference to our client’s lives, by either making something a lot easier for them, by giving them someone to talk to or just genuinely being there for their clients. The MAD Award is something that CAREGivers like to strive for within their work and really try to ‘make a difference’. We have now asked Clients to nominate a CAREGiver who has made a difference to their lives, and we have had several nominations already.
If you would like to know more about the great work we do to support our clients, please give Michele Walsh, our Care Manager a call on 0161 480 0646 or alternatively go to our website: www.homeinstead.co.uk/stockport
