This is the aptly named title of the event organised by Stockport Adult Social Services for their 'personalisation' open day to be held at Stockport Town Hall on 14th February 2013 from 11am to 4pm. The event is being supported by at home care company Home Instead Senior Care, as the main provider of personalised services in Stockport.
David Moore, Managing Director of Home Instead and his team have been working alongside the Council to deliver a range of services to meet the needs of people in Stockport, who are taking advantage of the personalisation agenda of the council and take a Direct Payment to fund their care. Through the Direct Payment system, people will be able to go out into the market place and choose the care they require instead of receiving the care they are given through the commissioned process.
Home Instead have grabbed the opportunity to have a stand at the event to showcase their wide range of services to support people to live the life they choose. David Moore commented: “Choice is at the very heart of everything we do, and it can be difficult at times to convince people accessing care for the first time, that with us they can have exactly what they want. The event is a real opportunity to talk to people about the services we provide and how we do things differently”.
Home Instead will be showcasing a range of services which will help people with the difficulties associated with accessing and managing Direct Payments and Personal Budgets. By eliminating the financial and administrative complications it will allow people to access the service that will make a real difference to their life. A service that Home Instead can provide.
Come along and see us on the day and find out how we can help you to live a better and more rewarding life with support from Home Instead Senior Care.
