A local company based in Stockport, which specialises in at-home care for older people, has moved to new premises in the town due to unprecedented demand for their services and is set to create 60 new jobs in the coming year.
The new office for Home Instead Senior Care is based at Randolph House, 37-41 Longshut Lane West, Shaw Heath, Stockport, SK2 6RX.
David Moore who owns and runs the business said, “With an ageing population, caring for the elderly has never been a more important issue. A knock on effect has resulted in a significant period of change and growth in social care, which is leading to a broader range of improved job opportunities in the sector.”
David Moore continued, “After over 7 years, we are now a well-established business in the Stockport area and I’m extremely proud of our reputation in the local community, which has allowed us to provide care to many clients. We had outgrown our previous office on Bird Hall Lane, Cheadle Heath and needed a premises that would allow us to expand our existing team of CAREGivers and give us the opportunity to increase our training facilities.
The new premises is over three floors and fully equipped with exceptional training facilities and meeting rooms, along with “quiet” rooms for one on one chats with family members or CAREGivers.
“Our CAREGivers are an extremely valuable part of our team and come from a hugely varied background but the one thing they all have in common is their real passion for helping others and caring for people in our local community. We provide all the necessary training and are a friendly, supportive team so professional experience is not essential. Whether you are 19 or 99, if you are a caring and compassionate person and would like to find out more, then we want to hear from you!”
