Local care company Home Instead, specialising in at-home care for the elderly, has teamed up with Age UK in Tameside to sponsor their 2013 Charity Golf Day. Keen golfer and Managing Director David Moore commented: “This is a very exciting project for us to support a fantastic local charity with this fund raising event. It is a great opportunity to raise necessary funds for the essential support they provide in the local community as well as enjoy an afternoon on the golf course! We work very closely with the Team at Age UK in Tameside, supporting all their events and activities and volunteering for steering groups and other initiatives looking at ways to develop the services delivered in the community and improve the wellbeing of the residents of Tameside”.

The tournament will take place at Denton Golf Club on 27th June 2013. The event consists of 18 holes of stroke play golf, great prizes and a trophy, evening meal, auction and entertainment. The entertainment will be announced soon, so watch this space! Tee times will be from 12 noon onwards, so book your place early to avoid disappointment.
