Joanna & David Moore - Franchise Owners
I left University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have always worked in industries where excellence in quality was standard. From University I worked specifying equipment to be used in chemical plants and then moved on to work for Rolls-Royce & Associates designing pressure vessels for nuclear propulsion on Navy Submarines. I then made a move into textiles working as Operations Director and Quality Manager for a company manufacturing combat clothing and work wear in large numbers and sourced from both Eastern Europe and the Far East. I spent my time flying the world, ensuring that both the quality and delivery requirements were met. Whilst I have seen a lot of the world including the Great Wall of China, I eventually decided that there had to be more to life than spending my time in an Airport lounge!I then made a life changing decision to buy a franchise and use my experience and skills to make a difference to people’s lives. I am very much a “hands on” manager and enjoy networking with my local community and building relationships.My role is to manage and grow the business, which I do on a day to day basis. I am there to support my staff and Caregivers and ensure that we maintain and continually improve our operation to achieve the best possible outcomes for our Clients. I am very proud of what we have achieved to date.
Nichola Booth - Head of Client Care - Registered Care Manager
Hi, my name is Nichola Booth and I am the Head of Client Care and Registered Care Manager for Home Instead Stockport and Tameside. I have worked within the care industry for over 12 years and have previously worked at Home Instead as a Field Care Supervisor, having left to develop my career as a Registered Care Manager with other home care providers.
I have gained my Degree in Health & Social Care, and I am currently undertaking my QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care. I am also trained to Level 3 in Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults.
I have returned to Home Instead Senior Care after struggling to find another provider whose values are a true ethos of their delivery. I am truly privileged to be responsible for a team of people whose passion for care shines through daily in every single task undertaken and I am extremely proud to be a part of that team, I don’t doubt for a moment that with the team we have in Stockport we can absolutely “Change The Face Of Aging” and I am excited about what the future holds: working positively to support our Clients to remain independent at home, to support families that we work alongside and the relationships that we can build, in creating partnership working within our district to further enable our clients to access services.
I have two boisterous boys who are 6 and 10 they keep me very active at home. I enjoy walks out and about, or if I’m lucky sometimes they’ll enjoy snuggling up with a duvet and a good film or book with lots of treats. I like to have meals out at different restaurants with my friends who are my extended family and support my mum and brother at their home.
Clare Cliff - Head of CAREGiver Experience
Hi, my name is Clare and I joined Home Instead Senior Care Stockport as the Recruitment Coordinator. Following a whirlwind year I have been promoted to Head of CAREGiver Experience. I feel privileged to have joined a company with such a wonderful ethos around high quality of care. My new role is to find great CAREGivers, train them, support them and engage with them, ensuring every aspect of their employment is perfect. The main part of my role will be around increasing our recruitment of caregivers whilst offering flexibility around their family lives and meeting our clients care needs. Home Instead prides itself on the wonderful caregiver opportunities we offer and the training and support offered to enable caregivers to feel supported in their roles.
I look forward to being out in the community and networking whilst representing Home Instead.
I am keen to work with the other organisations within the local area in supporting people back into work after career breaks.
I have always been a “people” person and enjoy meeting others. Most of my career I have worked with children and adults with special needs to try and enhance their opportunities in life. More recently I was an Older Person Activity Coordinator reducing social isolation in their later years by arranging social events and activities across the borough of Stockport.
I am a mum of 2 (my daughter is 21 and my son is 8) I and enjoy the outdoors. Much of my spare time is spent at National Trust Properties with my family.
Hayley Fallon - Community Relations Manager
Hi, my name is Hayley Fallon and I have joined Home Instead Senior Care as the Community Relations Manager. My role involves networking for the company, and marketing our incredible Care Services in our local community.
Throughout my professional career, I have always worked in ‘person centred’ roles; I started off working on beauty counters, and really found my passion for helping people. I quickly became addicted to the feeling of enriching someone’s day, and wanted to do bigger and better things.
Working in care was the only way forward for me, and for the next 7 years I worked supporting adults with mental health issues and learning disabilities. My previous job roles have only fuelled my love for care and when I was made aware of Home Instead, I immediately knew that I wanted to be a part of the company. I’m so lucky that I get to spend so much time with such wonderful people, and better yet, call it my job!
Outside of work, I love exploring new cities with my partner and spending time with my family. I am a proud auntie of 3 little ones and see them as much as I possibly can. I enjoy socialising with friends, baking and going to the gym.
Kate Pearce - Trainer
My name is Kate and I am thrilled to have joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care, Stockport as Training Officer.
I am a Registered Nurse with 30 years of experience. I have worked in Respiratory Medicine, Hospices, Community Palliative Care, as an Agency Nurse and recently at a Care Home.
I have also worked as a Trainer since 2001; for Care Agencies and at a Care Home for the last 6 years. I am passionate about training and believe that quality training makes a difference to the people who receive care. I like to use different techniques to suit the needs of the learners and an interactive approach to ensure that Caregivers learn effectively and feel supported in their roles.
I love working with people and forming relationships with caregivers and clients and enjoy the satisfaction of being able to make a difference to people’s lives. I am looking forward to visiting CAREGivers whilst they are with their clients to supervise and observe their practice.
I am married and have 2 sons at University. I enjoy socialising with my family and friends and being outdoors walking my dog, cycling and camping.
Hayley Henderson - Quality Lead
Hi, my name is Hayley Henderson. I joined Home Instead in March 2009 after being made redundant from my job as a supervisor in soft furnishings. I started my time with Home Instead as a Caregiver. Throughout the years I have been on many different training courses all provided by Home Instead which have been invaluable for my role as a caregiver. I have cared for some amazing and inspirational people. It may sound corny but I enjoyed getting up in the mornings to go and see my clients as they had some amazing stories to tell and they were genuinely please to see me each time.
I have gained my NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care through Home Instead. I was then offered the position of Senior Caregiver which I also enjoyed as I could continue to see my clients as well as working in the office.
I am now part of the Client Care team as a Field Care Supervisor. I am really enjoying this position as I get to meet many more of our clients and Caregivers.
Working for Home Instead is like having another family; everyone is so supportive; even though I work on my own I know that there is a great team that I can turn to if I need to.
I have seen many changes within Home Instead. They are a great company to be a part of, they are very supportive, of not only their staff but also of the clients.
Outside of work I enjoy hill walking with my boyfriend in the Peak District and I have recently discovered a love of cycling. I look after my mum and dads dogs for them when they go to their caravan. And I enjoy cooking.
Rebecca Wright - Client Service Coordinator
Hi, my name is Rebecca Wright and I am proud to have joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care as Staff Coordinator. Recently I have moved in to the Client Care Team as CLient Services coordinator.
I have always worked in Health and Social Care in particular various Care and Nursing homes for over 8 years. I decided a career in caring was for me as I felt I wanted to give “something back”
Through the years of working in care home environment I found myself wanting more and looking for a Company that had that something a little extra special. This led me to Home Instead Senior Care.

Gemma Reeves-Brown - Client Service Coordinator
Hello, my name is Gemma, I am very please to be a part of Team Stockport as Client Care Coordinator.
I applied for a position with Home Instead after experiencing first-hand, their passion for helping not only their own clients. but others in the community. I experienced their welcoming and caring nature whilst attending one of their successful Friendship Cafes, with a Client from my previous company.
I started to follow Home instead very closely and was thrilled to have found a company who share the same values and ambition as myself. They go above and beyond for their clients, providing an excellent service. I knew I had to be a part of this team!
I have worked in the Care industry for over 13 years and have an NVQ 2 in health and social care. During this time, I have undertaken various roles such as Caregiver in a Care Home, the community and an Intermediate care unit. I have been a Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy technical instructor in a mobility hospital where I was also part of the Daisy Team (Dignity in care) as a trainer and undertook observations for accreditations of businesses.
I am always keen to expend my knowledge and keep up to date with all latest training and development opportunities to ensure I am fully equipped in my role.
I have always been a people person and find pleasure in meeting new people. Assisting others is my goal no matter how little or how much they require and my role along with the amazing team here at Stockport, can help tailor a service to enable people to live their best life.
I am married with two amazing children, a daughter who is 7 and a son who is 3, who both keep me very busy out of work. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors and I also enjoy DIY projects.
Amy Godwin - Communication & Scheduling Support
Hi, my name is Amy Godwin I am so happy to be accepted as part of the Home Instead family, my role at Home Instead Senior Care is Communication and Scheduling Support. I have worked in care for 10 years working out in the community which I really enjoyed. I was recommended by a close friend who has worked at Home Instead for 2 years. Everything she told me about the company was positive, and I was looking to extend my knowledge in care, this was the perfect opportunity for me. The first day I walked in the office I was overwhelmed with how lovely everyone is and how welcomed I felt that feeling has never left me.
Helen Dufton - Training and Well-being Officer
Hi, my name is Helen and I am delighted to join the Home Instead Stockport team, as Training and Well-being Officer. I hold a PGCE and for many years, I have been teaching health and social care courses for an adult education service in Manchester. I have also developed and delivered courses for health and well-being and mental health awareness. I am passionate about delivering quality training and enjoyable sessions that provide the skills to deliver excellent care.
As well as teaching, I hold many years of experience working in the community as a Home Support Worker. I have cared for many people that I simply will never forget. Listening to people’s stories and supporting people to stay in their own homes safely was a role that I dearly loved.
I am thrilled to be taking on a new role at Home Instead as Well-being Officer. I am looking forward to supporting Caregivers and Key Players with their well-being that will enable them to continue to deliver high quality standards of work. This will take place through engagement, coaching, as well as activities and training that will support and strengthen well-being and resilience in the workplace. Having good health and well-being at work is beneficial to be able to manage and deal with stressful or changing situations through using different techniques and practical tips.
I am married with 2 teenage daughters and I love spending my spare time with family and friends.
Helen Oultram - Recruitment Administrator
Hi, my name is Helen, I recently joined Home Instead as a caregiver after the company was recommended by a close friend who has worked there for 6 years. Everything she told me about the company was positive. The first time I went into the office I felt a part of the team; everyone was so nice and welcoming.
I have recently taken over the role of Front of House Coordinator. It is a great office to work in everyone, is happy and there is always Caregivers friendly faces popping in for a chat and telling us about their days with the Clients.
Being a part of the Home Instead care team is amazing and watching how as a team we can change so many of our clients lives and help to make positive changes is rewarding. I am looking forward to continuing both roles with Home Instead and seeing how as a team we can continue to grow.
Olivia Wharton - Front of House Co-Ordinator
Hello, my name is Olivia Wharton and I have joined Home Instead Senior Care as Front of House Coordinator. My role involves being the first point of contact for all telephone calls and visitors to the office and ensuring that I am effectively communicating and being responsive .
I have always worked in People centred roles, with most of my experience gained through the Hospitality and Event industry. I love speaking to new people and getting to know each person I meet, my aim is to always make people smile and believe that the smallest of things can make the biggest of differences. Covid-19 arrived, and a change of career came with it, I wanted to be part of an organisation that helped and cared, especially in such uncertain times. When a friend of mine who is a Caregiver for Home Instead told me about the company, I knew it was the right fit for me. I feel very grateful that I get to work with such lovely, warm people, who have all made me feel so welcome, I look forward to meeting all of our Clients, who I have heard so much about already.
Outside of work I enjoy finding new walks with my partner and dog which Winnie is extremely grateful of. I love going out for dinners and spending time with my family and friends and of course the occasional pamper session!

I have worked within the care industry for a few years, starting as a caregiver for another care company.
