Many of whom, chose to work at Home Instead Southport and Formby because the traditional home care assistant type roles offered elsewhere, does not enable them to flourish and provide the standard of service that they would want for their own loved ones. What makes us different?

We do not offer short duration visits; Our minimum visit is an hour.  This is so important, we do not believe that a outstanding care can be provided in less than an hour.  We don’t just focus on a list of tasks, longer calls mean that we can support our clients without rushing and we can take care of all the little things that make such a huge difference.

We do not give our Care Professionals a list of people to visit each day; we match and personally introduce each Care Professional to a new client.  We want a long term relationship to get off to the best possible start, so we ensure that everyone is comfortable and confident.  This is a great comfort to our clients and their families, who do not want an endless stream of strangers coming in and out of the family home.  Many of our clients have had the advantage of knowing a small team of people involved in their care for many years.

We don’t just do heavy personal care; Our care for each person is as individual as they are. We have many clients that do not have personal care requirements at all.  So on Tuesday you could be taking someone to do their shopping and on Thursday you could be reading to somebody from their favourite book of poetry. You tell us what you are confident to do and we can carefully match you to a client, we will provide you with the training, skills and knowledge for you to really flourish in your new role.
