Personal care is one of the most intimate forms of support we provide, and we approach it with absolute dignity and respect. Our service might include help with morning routines like washing, choosing clothes and getting dressed, or evening support with bathing and preparing for bed. We understand how crucial it is to feel at ease with the person helping you with these private activities. That’s why we take extra care to match clients with Care Professionals who’ll make them feel comfortable. Our visits last a minimum of one hour, giving ample time to ensure everything is done at your pace, following your preferences, without ever feeling hurried or awkward.

What makes our personal care different is our focus on consistency and genuine relationships. We ensure you see the same Care Professional or small team who understand exactly how you like things done. For one client, this could mean knowing precisely how he prefers to get dressed when seeing family for Sunday lunch. For another client, it’s understanding that she likes her hair styled in a particular way each day. These might seem like small details, but they are important aspects of maintaining dignity and control. Our approach preserves independence wherever possible, helping maintain abilities and confidence.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

A personal care visit might begin with gentle assistance getting out of bed, followed by help preparing a warm bath with favourite toiletries. Our Care Professional might chat about the day ahead while helping with washing, dressing and grooming. There’s always time for proper care – applying moisturiser, helping choose comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather, or ensuring hearing aids are working properly. These visits create opportunities to notice changes in mobility, appetite or general wellbeing. We can spot early signs of health concerns that, when promptly addressed, can prevent more serious issues developing.

Every Care Professional on our team receives comprehensive training in personal care, exceeding industry standards. They learn practical skills alongside the equally important aspects of preserving dignity and respect during intimate care. Our owner, Mark, ensures our team understands the emotional aspects of needing help with personal care – the vulnerability, the adjustment, the importance of privacy. Our office team provides continuous support to both clients and Care Professionals, carefully monitoring feedback to ensure the perfect match and making changes if needed.
Our connections with local healthcare providers across South Norfolk and East Suffolk enhance the personal care we deliver. We work closely with district nurses, occupational therapists and GPs to ensure coordinated support, particularly when managing conditions requiring specialist approaches. If we notice skin concerns or mobility changes, we can quickly connect with the right healthcare professional. We also help clients maintain important community connections – perhaps helping someone prepare for a special family gathering or ensuring they’re ready for their regular hair appointment at a favourite local salon.
