As we become older, managing household tasks can become increasingly challenging. Our Home Help and Housekeeping service provides that bit of extra support that makes all the difference to maintaining independence at home. We go well beyond simply cleaning – our Care Professionals keep an eye on how clients are doing, checking if medications are being taken, ensuring the fridge is properly stocked, and noticing if post is accumulating. Every service is tailored to individual routines and preferences, whether that’s how you like your laundry folded or which day the bins need to go out. It’s about supporting both physical surroundings and overall wellbeing in the place you feel most comfortable.

What makes our approach special is how we blend practical help with genuine companionship. Our one-hour minimum visits mean there’s always time for both tasks and conversation. We might prepare favourite meals while chatting about family photos on display, or discuss the day’s news while helping sort through paperwork. This combination helps us spot subtle changes that might otherwise go unnoticed. Is the kitchen less organised than usual? Are certain tasks becoming more difficult? These observations help us adjust support before small issues become larger concerns.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

A typical Home Help visit might include changing bed linens, preparing a few nutritious meals for the freezer, and helping to organise the week’s medication. These visits are designed to offer practical support that makes daily life easier, while also bringing peace of mind to clients and their families. Whether it’s tidying up, sorting paperwork, or simply lending a hand with everyday tasks, our Care Professionals deliver support with warmth and attention to detail. Over time, these visits often become something our clients genuinely look forward to, not just for the help, but for the friendly conversation and companionship that come with it.

Our Care Professionals receive specific training in supporting home environments safely and respectfully. They understand that each home has its own systems and meaningful objects that matter deeply to the people living there. Mark, our owner, and our office team ensure every client’s specific preferences are carefully documented and followed. Families can stay updated through our Care App, which shows details of each visit and any observations made. You can always pop into our office, give us a call, or email us with questions or to adjust schedules. This responsive approach means we can quickly adapt as needs change, perhaps adding meal preparation or shopping if that becomes helpful.
Our connections across South Norfolk and East Suffolk mean we can help with more than just in-home tasks. We can arrange local handyman services if something needs fixing, coordinate with gardeners, or help manage home maintenance appointments. For many clients, our help extends to supporting community involvement – perhaps arranging transport to local clubs or social events that maintain important connections. We might help one client continue attending his model railway club in Dereham, while for another, it’s assistance getting to weekly coffee mornings at the local community centre. These connections, combined with a well-maintained home environment, create the framework for genuine independence and quality of life as you age.
