Didsbury Good Neighbours
Alison, Director of Home Instead South Manchester, had the privilege to visit The Didsbury Good Neighbours to lead an informative discussion on dementia awareness on 14th March. Alison shared invaluable insights with the volunteers on how we, as a community, can extend our support to those living with dementia. The turnout was great, with lots of questions being asked and answered.
The Didsbury Good Neighbours do wonderful work in our local community. They host a wide range of activities such as:
- Friendship and Memories Group at 1.30pm on a Monday
- A Craft Club at 1pm on a Wednesday
- A Film Club at 1pm on a Friday
And a host of other groups helping people to stay socially, mentally and physically active. All activities take place at the Didsbury Neighbourhood Centre in Didsbury Park.

By coming together as a community, we can provide the necessary care and understanding to ensure that no one faces this journey alone.
