We had a very special afternoon at Heron Hill Primary School in Kendal recently with some of our clients, our Care Professionals Shaun and Robin and school children planting trees in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee.
Beetham Nurseries gave us some sapling trees for the Queen’s Green Canopy Project. Heron Hill are an amazing school. We chose to work with them earlier in the year to renovate one of their gardens as we LOVE all of the work they do with the children in their fantastic garden spaces.
They even have bees and a bee keeping club! We all had the BEST time. There was lots of laughter and fun and our clients loved spending time with the children as well as doing the digging! We even had a lovely cup of tea and yummy biscuits after all our hard work, followed by a wonderful bee tour!
We are planning another visit soon.
