One of our Care Professionals and Community Angels, Andrea, recently went to a craft activity session at Heron Corn Mill. The Mill is a working 18th-century water mill on the River Bela at Beetham. It’s an amazing place which is open to visitors, with regular opportunities to see flour being milled and the 18th century barn is used as a venue for a range of community and educational activities, including this craft group.
A lovely lady, Kerry, runs these craft sessions once a month on Tuesdays from 13.00- 16.00. Kerry is a fantastic tutor with lots of experience with a range of craft activities. Its free entry with refreshments. Activities are organised or you can bring your own pieces of work.
Their next sessions are 18th October 22nd November 13th December. They also run lots of other activities too, like baking sessions and ‘Foodie Friday’s. Have a look at their website for more information.
