One of our Community Angels, Jill, went to a fantastic craft workshop at Heron Corn Mill in Beetham.
The lovely Erika runs a weaving class and its designed for older people with dementia and people with mobility issues. Weaving is such a positive and therapeutic craft to do and it really helps people who have memory loss, brain injuries and coordination issues and Erika adapts it depending on who goes. Some of our clients have already booked on Erika’s next sessions. The next dates are: 14/11/22 and 19/12/22.
Heron Corn Mill have a full programme of events for older people, as well as for other ages and it’s such a great place to visit.
