It’s that time of year again for our Be a Santa to a Senior! We have just launched our gift giving scheme again that we run every year with Morrisons in Kendal. With the cost-of-living crisis, this year is even harder for a lot of people, so we want to help more elderly people in our community who may be lonely and feel isolated by giving them a gift. Together with Morrisons and the help of the Fire Brigade, we delivered over 400 gifts last year, and we would love to top that!
People can either drop off a gift at Morrisons or at our office in Kendal and gifts like a pair of gloves, a scarf, chocolates, biscuits, toiletries, pair of socks, word puzzles, and blankets are ideal. If you know a community group that would like some gifts, please call Rachel at the office on 01539 267220. We hope you can help us spread the festive cheer and ensure people on their own get something to open this Christmas.
