The Home Instead care team have been providing outstanding care for both of my parents for two years. Their approach is quite incredible. They are dealing with difficult circumstances and yet have been unfailingly patient, understanding and professional. Every day they meet with resistance to personal care, yet have always put their patients needs first and used a variety of strategies, including singing(!) to distract my mother to ensure that she is clean, cared for and with her dignity intact. Whenever outside professionals or agencies visit my parents, they always comment on how well cared for they are in such difficult circumstances. They have stayed with my parents beyond their call times when they have a serious concern, battled through the snow to ensure that the calls are never missed, visited in numbers on birthdays to make days special and also listened to my family's requests in a caring and understanding way. They have been a team of angels.
