Home Instead want to thank everyone who donated! The money has been converted into goods to support people with the cost of living crisis.
Recently Home Instead held a stand at the Baschurch Village Fete, an event that was a huge joy and success, where we raised money to support the Baschurch Porch Pantry.
We were so honoured to see the community come together with donations at our stand for the Porch Pantry! £22.54 was donated to us and we rounded it off to £25 worth of products for the Pantry.
We used the donations to buy food items such as: pasta, rice, tinned beans, cereals, and many more, as well as liquids such as long-life milk. We understand that with the cost-of-living crisis, it isn’t just food that is a struggle for some people to buy, so we also used the donations to buy sanitary items, and toiletries.
The Baschurch Porch Pantry is in the porch of All Saints Church, the doors to the church are always open so that anyone in need access the support at any time of day.
The items are free of charge and anyone wishing to take items are welcome to do so.
To ensure that there is always a supply of food and toiletries for those who need it, the church asks if you have anything spare to put them in the boxes provided.
