Based in the Longley Centre at the Northern General Hospital, the team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, support workers, doctors, psychologists, administration staff and auxiliary staff, who all deliver their service from a variety of community venues, including people’s own homes. Their work includes specialist assessment and diagnosis, prescribing medication, education, planning for the future and support groups.

To access the service, please ask your GP for a referral. People may also be referred through Liaison Psychiatry, neurology and geriatrics if they have been in general hospital.
